H arvey Jay Levin,
president of Harv Levin Auctioneers, Inc., has
over five decades of experience as a financial institution design and construction specialist, developer, and auctioneer. Dr. Levin is a licensed auctioneer in Vermont, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine who became involved early in his career through building financial institutions. He began his career in 1959 as president of Central Tool Warehouse in Massachusetts. From 1970 to 1972 he took on the role of director of marketing and sales at Spacemakers before accepting a similar position at New England Homes in 1973. During the length of his career he continued to prosper and utilize his leadership skills to maintain positions across Boston, St. Louis, Alabama, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. of the field have helped him to reach many achievements, including being featured in a dozen newspaper articles and television programs in New York and Boston, specializing in the planning designing, building and furnishing of financial institutions in New England, having completed over 400 financial institution projects and being a charity auctioneer for Boston Children’s Hospital, March of Dimes, National Parks Association, as well as numerous church and civic auctions. Dr. Levin is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Auctioneers Association, the Wentworth by the Sea Country Club, the Hampton River Boat Club, The River Club Kennebunkport, the Portsmouth Power Squadron Club, and the Masons. His extensive career is backed by a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Administration in economics from the University of New Hampshire, and a Ph.D. in philosophy business management from LaSalle University.
