J ohn W. Jones has over 50 Mr. Jones comes from a family of entrepreneurs which dates back to the 1600s. Currently, he serves as the owner and manager of J. Jones Enterprises, a finance and investment company since 2004. He has utilized his entrepreneurial skills as a trainee of the Jones Building from 1967 to 1969, and was later promoted to manager from 1969 to 1978. Thereafter, he became the owner and manager, a position he served from 1978 to 1986. Mr. Jones is also a private investor in Port Townsend, Washington, since 2002, and Bellevue, Washington, from 1987 to 2002. Additionally, he has served as chairman of BOMA Health & Welfare Trust in 1986, and member and chairman of the Seattle Fire Code Advisory Board from 1979 to 1986, and from 1984 to 1986, respectively. years of experience organizing and operating businesses.

To prepare for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in business and economics from Western Washington University in 1966. Upon graduating, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve during his tenure at the Jones Building. He remained active in his field through his affiliations with the Seattle Building Owners Managers Association, where he served as trustee from 1979 to 1986, Building Owners Managers International, the American Association of Individual Investors, the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association and The American Legion. He is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, 30 year member of the Seattle Yacht Club, serving as its finance committee chairman, the National Rifle Association and the National Street Rod Association. Mr. Jones has been featured in the 28th, 35th and 36th editions of Who’s Who in Finance and Business, the 18th, 21st, 23rd and 26th editions of Who’s Who in the World, the 23rd through 43rd editions of Who’s Who in the West and 14 editions of Who’s Who in America.
