C aroline Daniels is an decades of experience in the field. Ms. Daniels co-founded Aircraft Technical Publishers (ATP), a subsidiary of ATP Aviation Regulatory Compliance and Safety Inc., in 1973 with her father, who recognized a need for training in flying safety. To prepare for her career, she earned her pilot’s license in 1978, obtained a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Colorado, and graduated from the owner/president management program at Harvard University in 1985. She began her career as an export agent with Air Oceanic Shippers from 1972 to 1973, then became the library supervisor at Aircraft Technical Publishers. development, strategy and product improvement. After the company’s inception, she maintained roles as operations manager from 1975 to 1980, vice president from 1980 to 1982, executive vice president from 1982 to 1984, president from 1984 to 1986, and chief executive officer and chairman of the board of directors from 1984 until her retirement in 2015. In the aircraft industry, Ms. Daniels is acknowledged as a pioneer of modern aircraft maintenance information systems and as the first operations leader who created and implemented the ATP “single source” aircraft concept, helping ATP to develop cornerstone databases and computing applications. In addition to serving as co-chair of the Northern California chapter of WomenCorporateDirectors, she has served on the board of directors, the executive committee, and the safety and training committee of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association, as well as the President’s Advisory Board of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the San Francisco-based Academy of Art University’s board of directors.
