B etty Casbeer Carroll for over five decades until her retirement in 2013. Ms. Casbeer Carroll earned an Associate of Arts from San Antonio College in 1956 and a Bachelor of Arts in liberal arts from Wright State University in 1976. Upon graduating with an associate degree, she delved into her professional career as an office manager and accountant for Civilian Building and Supply from 1963 to 1966. With the skills she garnered there, she became a staff accountant at Rignanese, Shannon & Horn CPA for one year before working as a cost provided her services as an application developer

accountant for Air Flow Heating and Air Conditioning from 1967 to 1970. As her career progressed, she maintained positions as a computer specialist and programmer for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, an office manager and accountant for the Southern Ohio Growth Partnership, and a computer programmer for the STAR Financial Group. Outside of her career, Ms. Casbeer Carroll was co-chair of Women for Racial and Economic Equality, as well as vice president of Miami Valley Freedom of Choice and the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom International. She is also a member of Scribes, Federally Employed Women and the Coalition of Labor Union Women. Now retired, Ms. Casbeer Carroll devotes time to her passion as an author and associate editor. She is writing her memoir, “A Freethinker's Memoir of Bygone Days: Ruminations, Observations and Insights,” scheduled for publication in 2018. She has been featured in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who of American Women, and was mentioned in “Feminism in the Heartland” in 2002, as well as “Feminists Who Changed America” from 1963 to 1975, and again in 2006.
