A nthony Joseph Capritto is a lawyer with over three decades of experience. Mr. Capritto began his career dabbling in many areas of the law, including real estate, personal injury and bankruptcies, which helped him build a strong foundation and remain prominent in his field. After graduating from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Business Administration, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in the Republic of Korea. During his time in the Army, he began to think about his future and decided he wanted to attend Harvard Business School. After applying and not getting in, he decided to attend his alma mater, where he subsequently earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1959. During his law school final examinations, Mr. Capritto was contacted by members of a law firm who saw his potential and wanted to meet with him for a formal interview.

Having done exceedingly well on the interview, he began working for the firm and soon realized that he was accumulating his own clientele. It was only a matter of time before he established his own private law practice, which he has been running since 1959. In addition to his law career, Mr. Capritto has served as a member of the president’s council at Loyola University Maryland, vice chairman and commissioner of the Louisiana Civil Service Commission, and president of the Louisiana Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He continues to be active in his field through his memberships in legal organizations such as the American Association for Justice, the American Catholic Lawyers Association, Inc., the Louisiana Association for Justice, the American Judicature Society, the American Arbitration Association and the Louisiana State Bar Association. Mr. Capritto attributes his success to doing his best to help people who often cannot help themselves.
