A lexander Butterfield has over six decades of military expertise. Mr. Butterfield was attracted to the military because he grew up in a military family based in a military town. A true American patriot, he was fascinated by the idea of service to his country and truly enjoyed working in the military. Although he was striving to fight in the Vietnam War, he got the opportunity to work with President Richard Nixon in Washington D.C. instead. He served as the deputy assistant to President Nixon from 1969 to 1973, and revealed the existence of a White House taping system on July 13, 1973, during the Watergate scandal investigation, in which he had no involvement. He studied at the University of California for a few years, but soon left to join the United States Air Force during the Second World War. He was initially stationed at Las Vegas Air Force Base as

a fighter-gunnery instructor before being transferred to the 86th Fighter Wing in Munich, West Germany, in November 1951, where he was a member of the Sky Blazers jet fighter acrobatic team. He later served as the operations officer of a fighter-interceptor squadron in Knoxville, Tennessee, before being promoted to commander of a fighter squadron at Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan. During the VietnamWar, he commanded a squadron of low and medium-level combat tactical air reconnaissance aircraft, flew 98 combat missions, and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He continued to excel in his field as military assistant to special assistant to secretary, student at National War College, administrator, lecturer in ethic in government, director, executive vice president, president and chief operating officer. Mr. Butterfield returned to school, obtaining a Master of Arts in history from the University of California. As of November 2015, he was working on a Ph.D. in history, with a focus on the presidential power to pardon. He remains active on the board of directors of several corporations.
