G eraldine Armendariz is a highly respected and reputable personal injury lawyer based in San Francisco, Calif. To prepare for her career, she earned a Master of Arts in economics and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley in 1974 and a Juris Doctor from John F. Kennedy University in 1980. Shortly after graduating, she was admitted to the U.S. District Court in California in 1981. She began her career as a legal assistant with Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe and was with the San Francisco Lawyers’ Committee for Urban Affairs from 1974 to 1976. Her newfound experience helped her to obtain a position as a law clerk, and she became a public defender for the city of San Francisco in 1978. She continued to progress in her career as a law clerk in the criminal division of the Superior Court of California.
