F or over three decades Rod Margo has utilized his litigation expertise to aide those in need of legal service both nationally and internationally. To prepare for his career, Mr. Margo earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1970 and 1973 respectively and a Doctor of Civil Laws from McGill University in 1979. Upon graduating from the latter, he gained admittance to the Georgia state bar in 1979 and a year later began his tenure, starting as an associate and soon made partner at Condon & Forsyth in Los Angeles, a firm that specializes in handling aviation, complex tort, product

liability, insurance and commercial litigation. While working at the firm, he also gained admittance to the California state bar in 1981, the Washington, D.C. state bar in 1996 and the Supreme Court of the United States in 2005. In addition to practicing he has shared his knowledge with students as a lecturer of aviation law at UCLA from 1981 to 1989 and as an adjunct professor of law at the Institute of Air and Space Law in Montreal, Canada. Mr. Margo has utilized his legal expertise and knowledge to author and co-author several books in the field, including the 3rd edition of “Aviation Insurance,” the 4th revised edition of “Shawcross & Beaumont on Air Law,” and the 1st edition of “Montreal Convention.” He remains active in the field as a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Additionally, he has been featured in many versions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in the World, and the 4th edition of Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
