Ms. Hennum was inspired to enter her profession through her volunteer service, as she previously worked in health care and received an opportunity to work with people in need. This experience helped her understand that she was meant to be in a role dedicated to serving others. She earned a bachelor’s degree in community and patient education, as well as a master’s degree from the University of Phoenix. With more than three decades of experience in recreational therapy and volunteer services, she has focused her organization on supporting families and creating self-directed work teams.
