D r. Mark Goldstein has an extensive professional background in information technology. To prepare for his career, Dr. Goldstein obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry at the University of Vermont in 1964 and later received a Ph.D. from the University of Miami in 1971. Throughout his career, he has held many prestigious positions in companies nationally and abroad. At the start of his career, he was the president of IBR Consultants, Inc., located in Coral Gables, Fla. He relocated to New York, where he took on the position of group leader at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Dr. Goldstein has had the opportunity to travel outside of the United
States and serve as a senior technical advisor for the JGC Corporation in Tokyo and as an executive director of Magnatek in Brotas, Brazil. Additionally, he was the project leader on a proliferation and waste management policy study conducted by President Ford’s scientific advisor. Outside of his work in the IT field, Mr. Goldstein is the author of several works. He completed two books of a trilogy, “30th Century: Escape” and “30th Century: Beyond,” and is currently working on his third book, which has no title as of yet. He also obtained patents for carbon monoxide sensors, self- powered gas appliances, co-generators and a gas safety valve. Mr. Goldstein has led a prosperous career in information technology and remains active in his field as a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Chemical Society. His hard work and dedication earned him designation as a fellow of the National Science Foundation in 1964 and 1965 and features in Who’s Who in Finance and Business, Who’s Who in Finance and Industry, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
