E dwin Daniel Fuller is the chief executive officer of Laguna Strategic Advisors, a position he has held since its founding in 2012. Of its founding members, Mr. Fuller brings with him more than 40 years of experience and expertise.

He began his professional career as a security officer for Pinkerton, Inc. and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University in 1968. Between leaving Pinkerton in 1968 and securing his current position, he held a plethora of executive and sales roles for Marriott hotel chains in Virginia, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and California. Before he founded his company, his latest stint in hotel management was for Marriott Lodging International in Washington, where he served as president from 1997 to 2012. During his career, Mr. Fuller has served on many international boards, the board of Concord Hospitality, and the advisory board of MIG Companies. He even dabbled in education as an adjunct professor of globalization at the University of California, Irvine and an adjunct professor of leadership at San Diego State University and California State University. He has provided his expertise as the author of “You Can't Lead With Your Feet On the Desk: Building Relationships, Breaking Down Barriers, and Delivering Profits,” which was published in 2011. Mr. Fuller remains active as a member of the Boston University Alumni Council, for which he serves as president, and Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, for which he is the fund agent. Mr. Fuller served his country as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971 and has received many accolades and awards for his contributions to his field.
