W ith his litigation in the legal field for over four decades. Before beginning his career as the powerful attorney he is today, Mr. Frank started out as a chemical engineer. However, after attending law school, he was advised to work in a small firm as opposed to a large one, which would help broaden his expertise. He had great mentors to lead him toward a path of greatness, including Edward Schoyer, who was a senior partner with whom he worked. Mr. Frank obtained a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1969 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Duke University in 1972, the same year he gained admittance to the Pennsylvania State Bar. from 1972 to 1993. After leaving the firm, he was a partner at Babst, Calland, Clements & Zomnir from 1993 to 1999 and gained partnership at Reed Smith LLP in 2000. Mr. Frank currently serves as an equity partner for Blank Rome LLP, a company that prides itself on taking a practical, business-minded approach to public and corporate transactions, litigation, and regulatory issues. Mr. Frank has served as a board member for SinterMet, LLC, chairman of the national fundraising committee of Carnegie Mellon University, on the board of advisors of the Carnegie Mellon College of Engineering, on the board of visitors at the Duke University School of Law, and on the board of advisors at the Center for International Legal Education. During his career, he has contributed articles to professional journals and has been a member of the American Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where he has served as chairman of the international and comparative law section since 1992.
