L eif Eie is a retired air of experience in the field. Mr. Eie became involved in his profession because of his desire to work in travel so that he and his family could visit the world and meet new people. To prepare for his career, he graduated from an army leadership course with honors in 1953 and from Heilbron Army Education Center with a degree in business and English in 1954. He began his professional career with Scandinavian Airline Systems as a ticket counter staff member in 1952. He continued to work through the ranks at the airline as a sales manager, district sales manager, and northwestern area manager, a position he held until his retirement in 1991. Additionally, he was an honorary vice-consulate of the Royal Norwegian Consulate in 1990 and served with the Norwegian Air Force. He was the founder of the Nordic Heritage Museum. transportation executive with over three decades

Throughout his career, Mr. Eie has experienced many highlights. He is most proud of creating the Sister Cities Program to bring people and art together in numerous cities, including Bergen, Norway. He has always been interested in helping people connect and enjoys traveling, which allows him to meet people of different cultures. Mr. Eie is active in the field through his affiliations and memberships with the Sons of Norway, the Norwegian Seamen War Veterans Association, the Norwegian Singers Association of America, Rebild National Park Society, Inc., the Finnish American Chamber of Commerce, the Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce, the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
